Welcome to the Elizondo Lab!

The Elizondo lab is geared towards delineating the molecular mechanisms implicated in failure of the immune system to maintain tissue and glucose homeostasis in diabetes. To do so, we employ non-obese diabetic or diet-induced obese transgenic mouse models, along with immunology and metabolism-relevant high-end techniques.
